2.1 Account Data

  • Name, email, phone number (for registration and communication).
  • Authentication data via Firebase Authentication.

2.2 Listing Data

  • Vehicle photos, description, price, contact information.
  • Approximate location (Wilaya & Commune) — we do not share exact addresses for private sellers.

2.3 Usage Data

  • Search history and listing interactions used for favourites, seller statistics, and service functionality.
  • Crash reports and diagnostics via Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Technical identifiers used for authentication, security, and abuse prevention.

  • Contract: To provide marketplace services.
  • Legitimate interest: To prevent fraud and improve security.
  • Consent: For optional permissions such as camera, photos, and location.

5. Data Sharing

We never sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Firebase/Google: For authentication, storage, database functionality, and crash reporting.
  • Legal authorities: If required by law.

6. Advertising & Tracking

The current iOS version displays no third-party advertising, does not include Google AdMob, and does not use the advertising identifier or cross-app tracking.

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • If advertising is introduced later, we will update this policy and the App Store disclosures and obtain any required consent before enabling it.

7. Service Interactions & Crash Reporting

We record necessary first-party interactions such as searches, favourites, and views in Firebase to provide marketplace features. We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes and improve stability.

  • We do not use this data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
  • We do not send your listing content to a third-party AI provider; moderation at launch is human.

8. Data Retention

  • Account data: Until account deletion + 30 days.
  • Deleted listings: 90 days (for audit purposes).
  • Logs and analytics: 12 months maximum.

9. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability (where technically feasible).

10. Data Deletion Request

You can request deletion of your data via:

  • In-App: Settings > My Account > Delete Account.

We will process your request within 30 days.

11. Cookies & Tracking

On the website:

  • Essential cookies only: For secure sign-in and site preferences.
  • We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

12. Children & Minors

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

13. International Data Transfer

Your data may be stored on Firebase (Google) servers outside Algeria. Google complies with appropriate data protection standards.
