  • AutoSoug is a platform connecting buyers and sellers — we don't own the vehicles.
  • We are not a party to any sale: no payments go through AutoSoug.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
  • You are responsible for the content you post.
  • We may remove content that violates our rules, and you can report and block abusive users in the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the AutoSoug app or website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or post listings. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Marketplace-Only Platform

AutoSoug provides a venue for listing and discovering vehicles. We are not a party to any transaction between users:

  • We do not own, inspect, or sell the vehicles listed.
  • We take no commission on sales, and we process no payments, deposits, or transfers between buyers and sellers.
  • All negotiations, payments, and ownership transfers happen directly between buyer and seller, outside the platform.

6. User Content & Listings

6.1 Your Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for the content you post.
  • Content must be accurate and not misleading.
  • You must own the rights to all photos and content you upload.

6.2 Prohibited Content

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Stolen or illegal vehicles.
  • Forged documents or fraudulent information.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or threats.
  • Explicit sexual content.
  • Spam, scams, or phishing attempts.
  • Any content that violates applicable laws.

6.3 Moderation — Not a Verification

Listings go through human moderation designed to reduce fraudulent, spam, and junk content. Moderation is a quality filter only:

  • It is not a verification, endorsement, or warranty of any listing, seller, or vehicle.
  • Approval of a listing does not mean AutoSoug has checked the vehicle, its documents, or the seller.

We reserve the right to review any content, remove or modify violating content without prior notice, and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

6.4 Reporting, Blocking & Zero Tolerance

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.

  • You can report any listing or user, and block users, directly in the app.
  • Reports are reviewed and acted upon promptly.
  • We may remove offending content and terminate the accounts of violators without notice.

7. Transaction Safety

Because all transactions happen directly between users, please protect yourself:

  • Meet in a public place, ideally during the day.
  • Inspect the vehicle and verify its documents in person before paying anything.
  • Never send money in advance — no wire transfers, deposits, or "reservation fees" to people you do not know.
  • Be wary of prices that look too good to be true.

AutoSoug never asks for payment to complete a vehicle purchase and is not responsible for losses arising from transactions between users.

8. Fees

Registration, browsing, and posting listings are currently free. If optional paid features (such as boosted listings) are introduced, their prices will be clearly displayed before any payment. AutoSoug never charges for, and never processes, payments between buyers and sellers.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The AutoSoug brand and design assets belong to us.
  • You retain ownership of content you upload, but you grant us a licence to display it on the platform.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant:

  • The accuracy of listings or the honesty of sellers.
  • The condition, history, or legal status of any vehicle.
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • The outcome of any transaction between users.

Moderation of listings does not create any warranty (see section 6.3).

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Your use of the platform.
  • Transactions with other users, including seller dishonesty, listing inaccuracies, or the condition of vehicles.
  • Any data loss or security breach.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws.

13. Amendments

We may update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
